Advocating for Our Students
Students have the right to get the best education possible in an environment that is safe and welcoming so they can thrive. As a School Board member, Heidi will advocate for every student to have the same opportunities to succeed and be successful in a safe learning environment.
A parent’s involvement in their child’s learning is critical to their success. As a School Board member, Heidi will help assist families in getting involved at their child’s school, keeping them up to date on district policies, and listening to any problems or concerns that arise. She will work to be a trusted voice for parents and families.
Assisting Families
Our teachers are some of the best and need to be supported in their efforts to educate our children. Teachers need to be respected and given the tools they need to run a successful classroom. As a School Board member, Heidi will help empower teachers, listen to them and their needs, and actively work to help cut out obstacles and regulations that stand in the way of their teaching.
